Louis Academy

International preschool and kindergarten located in Shoto, Shibuya

Did You Know?

From ages 1 to 6 years old, the human brain develops at a staggering rate – more than at any other time in an individual’s life. The importance of this life stage cannot be overstated.

Now more than ever we know which environments make for well-adjusted, creative, and empathic human beings.

Here at Louis Academy

We intend to lay the foundations for young learners to become autonomous, curious, and empathic individuals who will acquire practical skills to become cognitively and emotionally flexible human beings as they continue their life’s journey into the world at large. The early years are their first foray into society.

Our Curriculum

Our school follows international standards of best practice as we align ourselves with the IEYC, (International Early Years Curriculum) a method and theme-based curriculum which incorporates child-centered and progressive approaches to teaching. Of course, we will embrace traditional teaching methods too. We intend to strike a healthy balance between both old and new approaches.
